Use the recommended motor oil grade. Using the recommended grade of motor oil can improve gas mileage by 1-2%. Ask for proper oil weight (example,5W20, 5W30) when getting oil changed.
Check and replace air filters. Replacing a clogged air filter with a new Mopar air filter can improve gas mileage by as much as 10%
Keep the engine tuned. Fixing a vehicle that is noticeably out of tune can improve gas mileage by an average of 4%. Fixing a serious maintenance problem, such as a faulty oxygen sensor, can improve mileage by as much as 40%.
